Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

XRF Scientific Ltd (“XRF” or “The Company”) is pleased to advise the appointment of Mr Vance Stazzonelli as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Mr Stazzonelli is currently CFO and Chief Operating Officer of XRF and has been Acting CEO since March 2012.

Chairman of XRF, Mr Ken Baxter, said: “Vance commenced with the Company in October 2009 and during that time has developed an excellent understanding of the intricate, technology business that XRF operates.

During his tenure as CFO the business developed a robust financial position, which has allowed the Company to leverage off the opportunities from the mining boom as well as a general increase in the demand for testing services. He was also a key member of the Executive Management Team that consummated the Sigma acquisition in July 2010.

During his role as Acting CEO he has demonstrated the capacity to not only manage XRF’s existing business, but to strategically assist the Board to significantly increase the market capitalisation of the Company.”

Vance Stazzonelli commented: “I am excited to be given the opportunity to be XRF’s CEO. During my time at XRF I have developed a great passion for our industry and the business. We have a strong team of competent, committed people. They are highly motivated and have contributed to making the Company the success it is today.
