ANNOUNCEMENT UNAUDITED CONSOLIDATED RESULTS FOR THE NINE MONTHS ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2016

This announcement is made by Xinte Energy Co., Ltd. (the “ Company ”) pursuant to the Rule 13.09 of Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

The board of directors (the “ Board ”) of the Company hereby announces the unaudited consolidated results of the Company together with its subsidiaries (the “ Group ”) for the nine months ended 30 September 2016.

For the nine months ended 30 September 2016, the Group earmarked revenues of approximately RMB6,635.24 million, cost of sales of approximately RMB5,155.19 million and profit attributable to the owners of the Company of approximately RMB649.15 million. As of 30 September 2016, the total assets of the Group amounted to approximately RMB30,056.73 million.
