Xero Announces Change of Company Secretary
WELLINGTON, 20 September 2021 - Xero Limited (ASX: XRO) announces the appointment of Damien Coleman as Company Secretary effective today. Chaman Sidhu, who has been Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary since 2016, will remain as Xero’s Chief Legal Officer and responsible for group governance.
Damien has more than 20 years’ leadership and management experience in senior general counsel and company secretary roles with ASX listed businesses.
David Thodey, Xero Chair, comments: “As Xero continues to grow, our legal and governance team is evolving to help us meet the needs of our global business. On behalf of the Board and leadership team we welcome Damien, and we look forward to continuing to work with Chaman in her role as Chief Legal Officer.”
In accordance with ASX listing rule 12.6 Damien will be responsible for communications with the ASX in relation to Listing Rule matters, effective 20 September 2021.
