Appointment of Non-Executive Director and confirmation of Board changes

Xaar plc ("Xaar" or "the Group" or "the Company"), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in Cambridge, UK, announces the appointment of a Non-Executive Director and confirms board changes.

The Company is pleased to announce that Alison Littley will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 May 2020. 

As announced in September 2019, Margaret Rice-Jones will not be seeking re-election as a director at the forthcoming AGM and, following a short period of handover, will stand down from the board on 30 June.  Alison will take over from Margaret as chair of the Remuneration Committee and Senior Independent Director from 1 July 2020.

Alison has substantial experience in multinational manufacturing and supply chain operations, and a strong international leadership background gained through a variety of senior management positions in Diageo plc and Mars Inc and an agency to HM Treasury where she was chief executive officer. She is currently a non-executive director at Norcros plc, Headlam Group plc, and the family owned Osborne construction company consisting of Osborne Group Holdings Ltd and Rosewood Group Holdings Ltd.  Alison is also an NED at Weightmanns LLP but will be stepping down on 30th June 2020.
