Retirement of non-executive Director

Xaar plc ("Xaar" or "the Group" or "the Company"), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in Cambridge, UK, announces the retirement of David Cheesman, independent non-executive Director.

On February 12th 2015 David informed the Board of his intention to retire and he will therefore not stand for re-election at the AGM in May.

Phil Lawler, Chairman commented:

"I would like to express my thanks to David for his significant contribution to Xaar since joining the Board in 2011.  I wish him well in his retirement."

The Company has begun a search for a replacement.
