ANNOUNCEMENT ON ACQUISITION OF EIGENBAU PROPRIETARY, SOUTH AFRICA

WPIL Limited South African Subsidiary APE Pumps Pty Limited has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement and acquired 100% shareholding of Eigenbau Proprietary Limited, based in Bryanston, South Africa on 8[th] October, 2024.

Eigenbau Proprietary Limited is a medium sized contracting company providing turnkey solutions in the water and wastewater sector with a strong presence in the South African market and important references across Southern Africa over the last 34 years.

“This acquisition strengthens and builds on WPILs focus on providing flow solutions especially in the highly prospective African continent along with sharing tremendous synergies with APE Pumps and their turnkey pumping business” – Prakash Agarwal, Managing Director, WPIL.

The transaction consideration has been paid in cash and the amount is not disclosed due to reasons of confidentiality. The Sellers are not a related party.
