Syrah awards services contract for battery facility in USA
Syrah Resources Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Syrah Technologies LLC, has awarded Worley a services contract for its active anode material facility in Louisiana, USA. The facility produces value-added natural graphite material used in lithium-ion batteries that power electric vehicles.
Under the contract, Worley will provide detailed engineering and procurement services for the expansion of production capacity at Syrah’s active anode material facility. The services will be executed by Worley’s US Gulf Coast team with support from Worley’s Global Integrated Delivery Team in India.
