BASF awards Worley a framework licensing agreement for solvent technology

Worley has been awarded a framework licensing agreement by BASF SE (BASF) to license BASF’s technology solvent suite, OASE®. OASE® is a suite of gas treatment technologies and solvent solutions for several applications including sulphur recovery and carbon capture.

Under the agreement, Worley’s gas treating and sulphur technology business, Comprimo®, will become an authorized licensor of OASE®.

Worley Comprimo® was formed following Worley’s acquisition of the Jacobs Energy, Chemicals and Resources division in April 2019. Services will be executed by Worley’s Comprimo® teams from The Hague, London, Monrovia and Calgary with support from Worley’s Global Integrated Delivery team in India.
