WorleyParsons board changes
WorleyParsons Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Tom Gorman to the Board of Directors effective 18 December 2017. WorleyParsons also announces that Mr Jeet Bindra has given notice of his resignation from the Board of Directors effective immediately for personal reasons.
Tom Gorman has today been appointed to the Board. He will become Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. Tom’s appointment follows a 30 year career in executive positions at Ford Motor Company and then Brambles Limited where he was CEO from November 2009 until February 2017.
Tom has worked in multiple functions including finance, operations, logistics, marketing, and business development and has lived and worked in the United States, England, France, and Australia. Tom graduated, cum laude, from Tufts University with degrees in Economics and International Relations and obtained an MBA, with distinction, from the Harvard Business School. Tom is a resident of the United States.
The Chairman of WorleyParsons, John Grill, said: “We are delighted that Tom has agreed to join the Board of WorleyParsons. Tom’s strong skillset and breadth of experience will be a valuable and complementary addition to the Board. We welcome Tom to the Board and look forward to his contribution.”
John Grill said: “Jeet, who joined the WorleyParsons Board in July 2015, has been a valuable member of the WorleyParsons Board, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Health, Safety & Environment and Nominations Committees. He brought to our Board his great knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas industry globally. The Board and management thank Jeet for his contribution to WorleyParsons and we wish him well for the future.”
