Wisr Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Sydney, 01 March 2024 - Wisr Limited ( ASX: WZR ) (“ Wisr ”, or the “ Company ”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Lewis to the position of Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Matthew will commence his role on Monday, 4 March 2024.

With over 25 years of experience, Matthew has an extensive track record of financial, strategic and commercial leadership. He brings significant experience across multiple industries, including Avoka Technologies (Financial Services SaaS) and KPMG, where he spent 10 years in the Deal Advisory practice, leading financial and accounting due diligence investigations and capital market equity and debt raisings, including IPOs.

Matthew comes to Wisr from the global claims solutions business, Claim Central, specialists in services, technology, and data insights, where he held the role of CFO for four years. He has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Commercial Law from the University of Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of FINSIA.

Andrew Goodwin, Wisr Chief Executive Officer, said, "Matthew has deep experience in financial management and execution, leading and scaling high-growth businesses in the Fintech and Insurtech sectors. It’s an exciting opportunity for the Company, our stakeholders, investors and customers to have someone of Matthew’s calibre join the Wisr Executive Team, particularly as Wisr intends to recommence loan volume growth in H2FY24[1] .”
