Board Changes

Wiseway Group Limited ( Wiseway ) (ASX: WWG) today announced that The Hon. Nick Bolkus has resigned as Chairman and as a Non-Executive Director effective immediately. Mr Bolkus advised the Company that, due to personal reasons, he is no longer able to provide his complete attention and commitment to the Company.

The Board has elected Mr Michael Hughes as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Company. Mr Hughes was appointed to the board in April 2019 and is a highly regarded corporate advisor with significant experience in equity capital, debt markets and fund management.

Wiseway’s newly appointed Chairman, Mr Hughes, said: “The Board thanks Mr Bolkus for his tireless commitment supporting the company and wishes him the best of health for the future.”

To support the Company’s growth strategy of strengthening relationships with Chinese e-commerce platforms, the Board also appointed Ms Lin Xu as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, subject to completion of formal requirements.

Ms Xu, Sales Director at AZ Global, has more than five years’ experience in cross border e- commerce. She has overseen the recruitment of a broad network of sales channels, formulated operating models and fostered relationships with a range of key suppliers. Ms Xu’s experience includes E-commerce and E-marketing initiatives that have strongly contributed to the sales performance of several publicly listed companies.
