WiseTech Global issues $100m in shares to a global institutional investor
WiseTech Global today announced the issue of ~$100m in shares to a single global institutional investor. Under the terms of the transaction agreement, 7,560,153 WTC ordinary shares (2.59% of current issued share capital) will be issued to Capital Group’s SmallCap World Fund at $13.30 per share on 22 May 2018.
WiseTech Global Founder and CEO, Richard White, said, “The funds will be utilised in the continued disciplined execution of our stated strategy. Through this single transaction, we add further strength to our balance sheet and increase the capacity at which we can accelerate our long-term growth.”
