WINSOME RESOURCES APPOINTS CANADIAN GENERAL MANAGER

Highlights:

• Winsome Resources announces appointment of industry known Canadian Mr Carl Caumartin as General Manager to lead Company operations in Canada

• The Quebec native brings extensive experience on exploration and development projects in Canada and internationally

• Short term focus on collating exploration data and advancing towards field work

Perth-based lithium exploration and development company Winsome Resources (ASX:WR1; “Winsome” or “the Company”) has appointed Mr Carl Caumartin to the combined role of General Manager / Vice President of Exploration for Canada.

Mr Caumartin holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering, as well as an MBA and is a Quebec native with more than 30 years’ international experience as a mining executive and consultant. He has worked across projects focused on lithium, gold and numerous other commodities in Canada, Africa, Asia, and South America.

Managing Director Chris Evans said “ appointing Mr Caumartin was another big win for the Company following a successful first week trading on the ASX . With our assets spanning three sites in Quebec, it is essential to have an experienced manager on the ground that can work independently to manage development activities. We are very lucky to have secured Carl as GM / VP Exploration to run Winsome’s activities in Canada. Not only does he originally hail from Quebec and reside in Montreal, but he also has experience on several Canadian lithium projects from his recent work with a large Canadian consultancy .

Mr Caumartin brings significant experience driving projects from exploration through to development and forms an essential part of the Winsome management team.

Having raised $18 million as part of the IPO process and having experienced encouraging growth in market capitalisation over the first week of trading on the ASX, Winsome Resources will now commence an intense period of exploration activity at the flagship Cancet project, along with Adina and Sirmac-Clappier, as well as seek out new opportunities to expand the Winsome portfolio in Canada and North America.

Mr Caumartin’s appointment is a key part of the Company’s plans to develop the assets with a view to becoming a significant player in the Canadian lithium market. Prior to accepting the appointment, Mr Caumartin visited all three project sites and is now responsible for organising and managing the exploration activities crucial in the next phase of the Company’s development.

In the short term the Company will be prioritising the following activities in Canada:

• appoint consultants to advance exploration, identify drill targets and update metallurgical testwork

• organise logging of previous drill core samples from Cancet and Adina

• engage with the local Wemindji Cree people to discuss upcoming exploration activities

before commencing on the ground field exploration activities as soon as possible relative to availability of resources and to weather conditions.
