Appointment of Senior Adviser

Windar Photonics plc (AIM:WPHO), the technology group that has developed the LiDAR assisted monitoring and optimisation solution across multiple wind turbine platforms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tove Feld as an adviser to the Company through her Consultancy, Visionary Growth.

Tove has over 30 years experience of the renewables sector with a particular focus on wind power.  Her previous roles include Chief Technical Officer at Dong Energy Wind Power (now Orsted) as well as Head of Engineering Solutions Offshore, at Siemens Wind Power and Managing Director of DNV Global Wind Energy.  She currently serves on a number of energy sector boards including The Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd. (TRIG.L), Venterra Group plc (wind service company), Polytech A/S (solution provider to the wind industry) and Cloudberry Clean Energy A/S (Nordic independent power producer).

Tove is also a member of the Danish Technical University DTU Wind Energy and Energy System Advisory Board.  She is a UF Engineering graduate (USA) with a Ph.D from Aalborg University (Denmark) and Executive MBA from IMD (Switzerland).

Her initial focus will be on two main areas, supporting the development of the Company's mid to longer term strategy and helping the Company identify the recruitment needs to deliver on that strategy. The Company also expects Tove will ultimately be involved in all key business areas as an adviser to the Windar board.
