Director resignation

Windar Photonics plc (AIM:WPHO), the technology group that has developed a cost efficient and innovative LiDAR wind sensor for use on electricity generating wind turbines, announces Simon Barrell, non-executive director of the Company has resigned his position with immediate effect.

Jørgen Korsgaard Jensen, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, commented: "I would like to thank Simon for his contributions to Windar throughout the last 5 years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.  The Board recognises the importance of having a balanced and experienced board and intend to replace Simon with someone with similar public markets and accountancy experience.  We will provide further announcements, as appropriate, in due course."
