Board Change

Wilmington plc, the provider of information, education and networking services in Risk & Compliance, Healthcare and Professional knowledge areas, is pleased to announce with effect from 29 April 2020 the appointment of Helen Sachdev to the Board as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman designate of the Remuneration Committee.

Helen will join the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees with effect from the date of her appointment. She will then succeed Nathalie Schwarz as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee when the latter steps down from the Board on 30 November 2020, after the completion of her full nine-year term.

Helen brings a wealth of experience to Wilmington following a successful blue-chip executive career  in retail at Sainsbury and Tesco, in retail banking with Barclays and in residential property with Marsh & Parsons. She is a non-executive director and chairman designate of the Loughborough Building Society and was non-executive director of Communisis plc from June 2018 until its acquisition in December 2018. She is a founding director of the B2B coaching practice WOMBA (Work, Me and the Baby) and is an accredited Ashridge coach and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
