SECURITIES & EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA (SUBSTANTIAL ACQUISITION OF SHARES & TAKEOVERS) REGULATIONS, 2011 - REVISED DISCLOSURE FOR INVOCATION OF SHARES OF EVEREADY INDUSTRIES INDIA LIMITED HELD BY THE COMPANY

With reference to our letter dated 16[th] July 2020, we inform you that on scrutiny of the Beneficiary Account of the Company it has been found that a total of 37,10,932 Equity Shares (including 1,88,032 Equity Shares, intimation of which was earlier given) of Rs. 5/- each of Eveready Industries India Limited held by our Company have been invoked from pledge by IL&FS Financial Services Limited ('IL&FS') on 14[th] July 2020 and intimation was received on 16[th] July 2020. We submit herewith the required information in this regard in Annexure-1 (Revised) as specified by SEBI in terms of Regulation 31(1)/(2) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, which we trust you will find in order.
