WWH: Christian Berg hired as new group CFO

Christian Berg is hired as new group CFO in Wilh.

Wilhelmsen Holding ASA and succeeds Nils P Dyvik, who

retires. Mr Berg takes up the new position in April

"I have had the great pleasure and privilege of

working with Nils P Dyvik for many years. He has been

with our group for almost three decades, and has

decided to step down according to his retirement

agreement," says Thomas Wilhelmsen, group CEO.

Mr Berg comes from the position as senior partner and

head of credit in HitecVision, one of Europe's leading

private equity companies focused on the offshore oil

and gas industry. In addition, he has industrial

experience from Hafslund, one of the largest listed

utility companies in the Nordic region, where he has

been both CEO and CFO. Mr. Berg has a business degree

from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business

Administration (NHH) in Bergen, Norway.

"We look forward to continue to develop our portfolio

of companies and investments together with Mr Berg,"

says Wilhelmsen.

With his financial background, Mr Dyvik plans to

continue to work with restructuring and investment

advice. In addition, Dyvik will continue to have some

engagements for the Wilhelmsen group going forward.
