Starting April 1, the current CEO of PRODUCERS AG, Dr. Friedrich-Carl Wachs (41) will join the board as COO and deputy chairman. He will be responsible for corporate development, corporate communications, investor relations and human resources. Dr. Wachs began his career in electronic media in 1990 at Ufa Film- und Fernseh GmbH in Hamburg. After serving as “publishing director for new electronic media” at Heinrich Bauer Verlag, he took charge of the classic Babelsberg film studios in 1997. At the beginning of 1998, he joined the management of Medienstadt Holding Babelsberg where he was responsible for the entire media activities for Babelsberg’s owner Vivendi. Since September 2000, Dr. Wachs has been CEO of PRODUCERS AG, Potsdam, an association of independent film and television enterprises. “For us, acquiring F.C.
