Mit einem eigenen Vorstandsressort für die Neuen Medien folgt das Unternehmen den Marktanforderungen des neuen Jahrtausends, in dem Digitale- und auch speziell die Online-Medien zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnen. Gespräche mit Unternehmen über eine Zusammenarbeit, vor allem auf dem Gebiet des Internets, wurden bereits begonnen. Auch das Engagement von Senator im Musikmarkt, ein weiterer zukunftsträchtiger Bereich des modernen Entertainments, wird durch das neue Vorstandsmitglied intensiviert. Für beide Bereiche, Musik & Neue Medien, bringt Borris Brandt beste Kontakte zur Unterhaltungsindustrie sowie einschlägige Erfahrungen und nachweisbare Erfolge mit. Brandt war Programmdirektor bei ProSieben und hat dort unter anderem den Comedy Bereich erfolgreich aufgebaut. Sein Name ist verknüpft mit so erfolgreichen TV-Serien wie Stefan Raabs “TV total”. “TV total” ist zum Kult am Montag geworden und kaum eine andere Fernsehsendung hat für so viel Aufsehen in Deutschland gesorgt. Mit 6 Millionen Seitenabrufen pro Monat erfreut sich die “TV total” Homepage grösster Beliebtheit. Brandt baute zudem den Show Bereich bei ProSieben aus und verantwortete über 50 Eigenproduktionen. With a separate division for the New Media, the company is responding to the market demands of the new century in which digital media, especially online, are of growing importance. Discussions have already begun with other companies regarding cooperation, particularly in the Internet sector. Senator’s involvement in the music market, another segment of the entertainment business with a promising future, will also be intensified by the new Board Member. For both sectors, Music & New Media, Borns Brandt brings along superb contacts in the entertainment industry, hands-on experience and a track record of proven successes. Brandt was the Programming Director at the Munich-based private television network ProSieben, where he successfully built up the Comedy Division, among others.
