Vienna (pta/15.03.2011/18:05) - Prudential plc holds less than 5% of Wienerberger stock

Wienerberger AG has received an announcement in accordance with § 91 Par. 1 of the Austrian Stock Exchange Act concerning a change in the number of Wienerberger shares owned by Prudential plc, which is based in the United Kingdom. Prudential plc again fell below the 5% reporting threshold as of March 11, 2011, following a reported holding of 5,868,754 shares, or 4.99% of the issued share capital in Wienerberger AG that is owned directly as well as through its affiliated companies.
