Sub : Outcome of Board meeting held today on Monday, 18[th] March, 2019 / Entering into seeds research, seeds development and seeds marketing business of the company.

With the vision of e x pansion in the organic farming s e ctor as a whole and looking at u p side potential of expansio n in the seeds development busines s , the board of directors of the com p any met and discussed i n depth about addition of seeds r e search, seeds development and s e eds marketing business in the company. The board is pleased t o announce addition of one more fe a ther in the crown of White Organic Agro Limited and have app r oved entering into seeds research, s e eds development and se e ds marketing business, which woul d be very helpful for the future gr o wth prospect of the com p any. Initially the company will invest INR 50 Million in the new vertic a l of organic seeds researc h , development and marketing.

Seeds Research : Th e re is a huge opportunity available in area of Research and developme n t of organic seeds and als o exporting the same in well develop e d countries. The scope of this busin e ss is enormous. The board has authorized the management to f inalize the future course of Researc h and Development of see d s business. With a clear objective outlining what is to be achieved w hen embarking on a seed R & D, the board has authorized the management to start with resear c h of organic seeds and also some flexibility to make the m o st of opportunities which enable your company to enter int o the sector in the near future.

Seeds Development / Cultivation : A meticulous planni n g and good co-ordination betwee n the Registered Growers a n d our Management shall be set in s uch a manner that the high quality s eed production shall bec o me possible. The company plans to hygienically cultivate and process s e eds which shall be produ c ed by Custom Seed Production te a m from Pre-defined farmers; unde r the supervision of specialized Seed Technologists.

The management is committed in strengthening the a griculture industry by entering in t o in premium grade Orga n ic Agricultural Seeds. The company w ould be rendering a wide assortme n t of quality products incl u ding Groundnut seeds, Bajra Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds, Sesame Seeds and Coriander Seeds to b e gin with. The products shall be wid e ly utilized for pure cultivation, high y ield assurance in domesti c as well as international market. O rganically grown seed produces hearty, robust plants already a dapted to organic growing conditio n s

Seeds Marketing : Increasing natural food demand a n d rising awareness among consu m ers regarding health ben e fits from non-synthetic food drives the organic seeds market growth. Rising awareness towards n o n-chemical farming owing to envir o nmental concerns will positively favour organic seed market s ize over the forecast timeframe. Favorable government norms which su p port chemical free farming while producing these seeds shall pr o pel industry growth.
