NEW DIRECTORSHIP HELD BY A DIRECTOR IN ANY OTHER PUBLICLY QUOTED COMPANY

Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.14 (2), we confirm that Alison Brittain, Chief Executive of Whitbread PLC, is to be appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair Designate of Dunelm Group plc.  Alison will join the Board with effect from 7 September 2022, and it is expected that she will step up as Chair next year, in advance of the expiry of the current Chair's nine year term in September 2023.
