HUEY TAI INT'L<0164> - Share Consolidation Market participants are requested to note that the shares of HK$0.01 each ("Old Shares") (after capital reduction) in the capital of Huey Tai International Limited will be consolidated into shares of HK$0.05 each ("New Shares") on the basis of 5 into 1 subject to its shareholders' approval at the Special General Meeting to be held on 2/4/2001. Upon the proposals becoming effective, a temporary counter under stock code 2955 and stock short name "HUEY TAI INT'L" will be established for trading in board lots of 1,000 New Shares each to replace the present counter (stock code: 164) for trading in board lots of 5,000 Old Shares each effective from Tuesday, 3/4/2001.
