Result of Annual General Meeting

At the Annual General Meeting of J D Wetherspoon plc ("J D Wetherspoon" or the "Company") held earlier today, 17 December, all resolutions proposed at the meeting were duly passed by poll.

A summary of the certified votes in respect of each resolution will be made available shortly on the Company's website at www.jdwetherspoon.com/investors-home/general-meetings  

The Company also invited questions from shareholders given this year's AGM was held on a closed basis due to Covid-19 restrictions and the Company's usual post -meeting shareholder Q+A could not therefore take place. The questions and responses to them will be made available on the Company's website.

A copy of the resolutions and the certified votes have been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism
