WEST - Registration of share capital increase

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement by Western Bulk Chartering AS on 8 September 2021 regarding the completion of an offering of shares consisting of a primary offering of 3,950,000 new shares and an over-allotment option of 390,000 additional shares.

The share capital increase pertaining to the 3,950,000 new shares was registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises today. Following the registration, the share capital of Western Bulk Chartering AS is NOK 1,661,485.75 divided on 33,229,715 shares, each with a nominal value of NOK 0.05.

The first day of trading in the shares on Euronext Growth Oslo is expected to be on or about Monday 20 September 2021 under the ticker "WEST".
