DRD Gold Limited Share Issue Completed
West Wits Mining Limited (“West Wits” or “the Company”) advises it has issued to DRD Gold Limited (“DRD”) 38.25 million fully paid ordinary shares (approx. 12%) in the Company under its 15% placement capacity.
This share issue relates to the DRD Entitlement Shares previously held by DRD in a West Wits South African subsidiary. DRD has now received approval from the South African authorities allowing it to take up its shareholding directly in the holding company which simplifies the Company’s shareholding structure. The Entitlement Shares were originally issued to DRD by West Wits for the acquisition of the Randfontein Cluster assets which have since been sold to Mintails Limited.
Full details of this allotment are contained in the Appendix 3B lodged today.
