Dear Gonzalo.

West Wits Mining Limited (ASX: WWI) requests that its securities be placed in a trading halt with immediate effect.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:

$\bullet$ The trading halt is necessary as the Company expects to make an announcement to the market in relation to a proposed capital raising and acquisition;
Unless otherwise requested by the Company, the Company requests the trading halt to remain in place until the announcement is made to the market; and
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
