MARKET RELEASE

LETTER TO SILK SHAREHOLDERS, SCHEME BOOKLET AND SCHEME MEETING

Adelaide, South Australia: 10 October 2023: SILK Laser Australia Limited (ASX:SLA) ( SILK ) refers to its announcement on 4 October 2023 that the Federal Court of Australia had approved the convening of the Scheme Meeting and the distribution of the Scheme Booklet pursuant to a scheme of arrangement for the proposed acquisition of SILK by Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wesfarmers Limited.

A printed copy of the Scheme Booklet, together with a personalised proxy form and reply paid envelope (if the shareholder’s address in SILK’s register of members is located within Australia) or a self-addressed envelope (if the shareholder’s address in SILK’s register of members is located outside Australia) for the return of the proxy form, has been despatched today by pre-paid post (if the shareholder’s address in SILK’s register of members is located within Australia) or pre-paid airmail (if the shareholder’s address in SILK’s register of members is located outside Australia) to SILK shareholders who have elected to receive hard copy shareholder communications from SILK.

The attached letter, together with a personalised proxy form and reply paid envelope (if the shareholder’s address in SILK’s register of members is located within Australia) or a self-addressed envelope (if the shareholder’s address in SILK’s register of members is located outside Australia) for the return of the proxy form, has been despatched today by pre-paid post (if the shareholder’s address in SILK’s register of members is located within Australia) or pre-paid airmail (if the shareholder’s address in SILK’s register of members is located outside Australia) to SILK shareholders who have not elected to receive SILK shareholder communications in hard copy or electronically. The letter contains details of the Scheme Meeting and instructions about how to access a copy of the Scheme Booklet and lodge a proxy.

An email containing similar information as the attached letter has been sent to those SILK shareholders who have elected to receive SILK shareholder communications electronically.

SILK Laser Australia Limited Scheme Booklet and Scheme Meeting

As announced by SILK Laser Australia Limited (ACN 645 400 399) ( SILK ) to the ASX on 4 October 2023, the Federal Court of Australia has ordered that SILK convene a meeting of SILK shareholders ( Scheme Meeting ) to consider and vote on a scheme of arrangement for the proposed acquisition of SILK by Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Pty Ltd (ACN 000 004 320), a wholly-owned subsidary of Wesfarmers Limited (ACN 008 984 049) ( Scheme ).

This letter is being sent to you because you have not elected to receive securityholder communications electronically or in hard copy. If you recently sold all your SILK shares, please disregard this letter.

Details of where you can access and download a copy of the scheme booklet in connection with the Scheme ( Scheme Booklet ) are set out below. If you would like to request a hard copy of the Scheme Booklet by post, please contact the SILK Shareholder Information Line on 1300 429 201 (within Australia) or +61 2 7208 4523 (outside Australia) between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm (Sydney time) Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

You should read the Scheme Booklet in its entirety before deciding how to vote on the Scheme Resolution.

The Scheme Meeting will be held in person on Friday, 10 November 2023 at 10:30am Sydney time (10:00am Adelaide time) at Kain Lawyers, Level 5, 121 King William Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000.
