Ownership update

The Supreme Court of Victoria today approved a meeting of Coles Group shareholders being held on November 7, 2007 to vote on the proposed Scheme of Arrangement under which Wesfarmers would acquire Coles.

The Court approved the Scheme Booklet which will be registered with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and filed with the ASX on Monday before being despatched to Coles shareholders.
