Wendel has today successfully placed a €500 million bond issue maturing in February 2027 with a coupon of 2.50%. This is Wendel's first 12-year issue since 2005.
Wendel will use the net proceeds of the issue for its general corporate purposes and to continue improving its financial structure.
The issue was very well received by investors and was 7.4 times oversubscribed. The bonds were placed with an international investor base, mainly British (34%), French (25%) and German (24%).
