KEY FACTS

  • Western Australian iron ore explorer

  • Central Yilgarn focus

  • 1200 km[2] iron rights - largest holder in district

  • Realistic infrastructure options

  • Significant hematite and magnetite potential

  • >120 km banded iron formation

  • Actively exploring

Radar’s tenements are prospective for both hematite and magnetite mineralisation and only limited past exploration has been completed. Drilling commenced in November 2010 aimed at rapidly testing identified targets.

The acquisition of 800km[2] of new iron rights in February 2011 has significantly increased Radar’s footprint in the Yilgarn.

The Central Yilgarn region has a direct shipping iron ore inventory of greater than 300Mt and magnetite mineralisation identified in excess of 8Bt. Eight Mtpa of hematite ore is currently mined and shipped in the district with several new mines planned for 2011.

The Yilgarn Iron Ore Province is rapidly being recognised as having distinct infrastructure advantages over the Mid West and Pilbara regions. Existing ports at Esperance and Fremantle connected via the public access railway line provide a potential infrastructure pathway.

Radar floated December 2010. ASX Code: RAD $6.8M raised 61.9M Shares on Issue 22.8M Options Market Cap $22M (at 35 cents/share)
