Weebit Nano Limited (ASX: WBT) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Weebit Nano Limited (‘WBT’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of WBT, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 24 March 2023 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Dear Dean,

Weebit Nano Limited (ACN 146 455 576) – request for trading halt

Weebit Nano Limited (ACN 146 455 576) (ASX: WBT) (“ Weebit ”) requests that an immediate trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange with respect to its ordinary shares.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Weebit provides the following information:

• The trading halt is necessary as Weebit expects to make an announcement to the ASX in connection with a proposed capital raising comprising an institutional placement and a share purchase plan;

• Weebit requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the opening of trading on Friday, 24 March 2023 or the time that Weebit makes an announcement in relation to completion of the institutional placement;

• Weebit expects that the trading halt will be ended by it making an announcement to the ASX in relation to completion of the institutional placement; and

• Weebit is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or any other information necessary to inform the market about the requested trading halt.
