Weebit Nano announces retirement of Non-executive Director, Yossi Keret
1 October 2019 – Weebit Nano Ltd (ASX: WBT) ( WBT, Weebit Nano or the Company ), a developer of next generation memory technology for the global semiconductor industry, announced at its Annual General Meeting that NonExecutive Director, Mr Yossi Keret, would not be standing for re-election, and has therefore retired from the Board of Weebit Nano.
Commenting on the retirement, CEO Mr Coby Hanoch, said: “Yossi has been a key member of the Weebit family and has made a significant contribution to the Company’s growth. As the previous CEO, he established the relationship with Leti, which has enabled Weebit to make rapid progress with its technology, and was responsible for the listing process and establishing the required infrastructure for the Company. I am thankful for his services which have enabled me to continue to drive Weebit forward. I look forward to his continued support as an advisor to the CEO, and I wish him success with his next ventures.”
Chairman of Weebit Nano, Mr Dadi Perlmutter, added: Yossi has been a great asset for Weebit Nano. He was the founding CEO for the Company as it listed on the ASX, and also oversaw significant development of Weebit’s SiOx ReRAM technology, helping to position the Company in a strong position.”
Commenting on his retirement, Mr Keret said: “I am very thankful for the opportunity to be part of the initial executive team of Weebit Nano, and to be involved as a non-executive Director more recently. I wish the Company all the best for the future, and retire knowing that there is a highly capable and talented board and management team in place to lead the Company forward.”
As previously announced to the market, Yossi’s non-executive Director role is being replaced by Mr Atiq Raza, who has significant experience in the semiconductor industry.
