Notice of the Death of Senior Independent Non Executive Director

It is with profound regret that the Board of Webis Holdings plc report the death of Senior Independent Non-Executive Director Sir James ("Jimmy") Mellon KCMG, aged 94. His fellow Board members and his colleagues are all deeply saddened by his passing.

Jimmy, appointed in April 2016 as the Group's Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, provided the Board with the benefit of his extensive experience in commercial matters, regulation, and governance.

Denham Eke, Chairman of Webis Holdings PLC, said:

"Jimmy has not only been an outstanding mentor to the Board, but also to me personally. His balanced judgement, accompanied with a forensic eye for detail, will be sorely missed by us all. On behalf of everyone in the Group, I wish to use this opportunity to record our thanks to Jimmy for his outstanding contribution and offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends."

For the time being, Richard Roberts, Independent Non-Executive Director will assume the role of Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee until further notice.
