WEBJET TO OUTSOURCE COMPLIANCE ACCOUNTING

Webjet today announced it has accepted the resignation of its CFO and Company Secretary Rod Brandenburg who will be leaving on 1[st] February 2009 to pursue other interests.

Commenting Webjet’s Managing Director David Clarke said: “We particularly thank Rod for the excellent and professional work that he has undertaken over the last 18 months which has also seen a very substantial strengthening of the finance division under his guidance.

As additional automation has been introduced we will now be outsourcing compliance accounting to Deloittes which will ensure that our timely and high standard financial reporting will be further enhanced and we expect in addition to gain greater economy of scale from that resource.”
