TRADING HALT
The securities of WAM Research Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 20 October 2015 or when the announcement is released to the market.

WAM Research Limited (ASX: WAX) – Request for trading halt
Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, WAM Research Limited (‘WAM Research’ or ‘the Company’) requests a trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange with respect to WAM Research’s ordinary shares on Friday 16 October 2015 pending a material announcement regarding a placement of ordinary shares in respect of the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (‘DRP’) shortfall (‘DRP Shortfall Placement’) to wholesale investors*.
WAM Research requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of, the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday 20 October 2015, or the time that the Company announces the conclusion of the DRP Shortfall Placement.
WAM Research is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information available at this stage that is relevant to the trading halt.
