WAM Microcap raises $154m and closes
oversubscribed

WAM Microcap Limited has closed its initial public offering with investor demand exceeding the $154 million capacity limit.
Wilson Asset Management Chief Executive Officer Kate Thorley thanked existing shareholders[*] for their support in the capital raising.
“We have been overwhelmed by our shareholders’ strong support for WAM Microcap,” she said.
“We are pleased all shareholders who correctly applied under the WAM priority allocation will receive their full allocation. Unfortunately, other investors will be scaled back,” Ms Thorley said.
WAM Microcap shares will commence trading on the ASX under the code WMI on 28 June 2017.
