Wallenstam has issued a green bond of SEK 400 million for financing of wind turbines
Today, Wallenstam has issued a green bond under its green framework and MTN program. The issue consists of SEK 400 million with a maturity of 1.5 years and with a variable interest rate of 3M Stibor + 120 basis points. The bond is unsecured.
The bond proceeds will be used for financing of Wallenstam's wind turbines.
The bond will be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm Sustainable Bonds List. Nordea Bank Abp has acted as issuing agent.
The green framework describes, among other things, what types of projects and assets that can be financed using green bonds. The framework was reviewed by the independent research institute Cicero (Center for International Climate Research) and obtained the highest rating, Dark Green.
