Walker Crips Group plc announces that on the 19 August 2016 the Trustees of the Walker Crips Group Share Incentive Plan acquired 47,042 ordinary shares (comprising 23,521 Partnership shares and 23,521 Matching shares) for the benefit of the participants of the Plan. The price paid by the participants was 47p. The Partnership shares will be used to satisfy employees' contributions to the Plan deducted from their August salary.  The Matching shares are purchased for the employees' benefit by the Group and are subject to certain eligibility criteria. 

A number of Directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities within Walker Crips Group plc, as contributors to the plan, have acquired the following interests in the shares:-
