BOARD CHANGES

Appointment of Non-Executive Director – Paul Kopejtka

MHM Metals Ltd (ASX:MHM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Paul Kopejtka as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Mr Kopejtka has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Kopejtka has been associated with a number of Australian listed companies, notably Murchison Metals Ltd and Extract Resources Ltd.

Under Paul’s leadership, Murchison successfully developed the Jacks Hills Iron Ore Stage 1 mine producing 2Mtpa of high grade Iron Ore. In late 2007, Murchison entered into a Joint Venture with Mitsubishi Corporation to jointly develop the Jack Hills Stage 2 project. More recently Murchison sold its 50% share in the Joint Venture to Mitsubishi Corporation.

Mr Kopejtka currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Ascot Resources.

The Company welcomes the appointment of Mr Kopejtka and looks forward to his contribution and support in the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.

Resignation of Chairman – Iain Kirkwood

Mr Iain Kirkwood has resigned as a Director of the Company.

Mr Kirkwood has served on the board of MHM Metals since February 2013 and as its Chairman since August 2013.

The Board and management of MHM Metals would like to record their appreciation for Mr Kirkwood’s efforts, endeavour and leadership during what has been a challenging time in the Company’s history.

Speaking for the company Mr van den Elsen said “Iain joined the Company at a time when it was burdened with legacy and inherited issues which threatened its solvency and now leaves the company in a much stronger position”.

Appointment of a New Chairman – Joseph van den Elsen

Mr Joseph van den Elsen, currently a Non-Executive Director and the Company’s 3rd largest shareholder, has been appointed as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors with immediate effect.
