TRADING HALT

The securities of Ventnor Resources Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 20 August 2012 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Ventnor Resources Limited ( Ventnor ) requests an immediate trading halt be granted by the ASX, with respect to Ventnor’s quoted securities.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, Ventnor advises:

• (a) the reason for the request is to facilitate an orderly market in the company’s securities pending an anticipated announcement by the company regarding an equity raising;

• (b) Ventnor anticipates the trading halt to remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes an announcement in relation to the equity raising and the expiration of the period permitted under listing rule 17.1.1; and

• (c) Ventnor is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
