VOLUE ASA: VOLUE SIGNS PROOF OF CONCEPT FOR SMART POWER IN JAPAN WITH UNDISLOSED COUNTERPART

Oslo, January 2nd 2024: Following the proven market fit and successful entry into Japan with the Insight platform, Volue has decided to move forward with optimisation capabilities through the Smart Power suite. In that context, Volue is proud to announce the signing of a proof-of-concept agreement with an undisclosed counterpart. Going forward, markets in Japan are evolving and increased intermittent PV and wind capacity is brought online. Consequently, market prices will become more volatile and with it the value of strong optimisation capabilities will increase. The PoC will run throughout 2024, demonstrating the value to be extracted from optimising assets with Volue Smart Power.
