Oslo, 21 September 2022: Volue ASA (OSE: VOLUE) today hosts its first Capital Markets Day to give an update on the company’s business, strategy and financial outlook.

“As a relatively newly listed company, we welcome this opportunity to present our strategic outlook, industry segments, customer cases and the growth opportunities we see arising from megatrends such as decarbonisation and increasingly decentralised and complex energy systems,” says Trond Straume, CEO of Volue.

“The basic premise of Volue is the rise in volatility and complexity in the energy markets. Since we set up Volue, volatility has exploded, and complexity keeps growing, validating this basic premise. This trend poses a challenge to businesses and societies, but it also creates opportunities. How can our software help customers create value from volatility? How can we help them navigate complexity? At the Capital Markets Day, we aim to give a deeper understanding of this,” Mr Straume adds.

Volue maintains its previously communicated financial ambitions for 2025. Looking ahead to 2030, Volue will continue to emphasise growth for the Energy and Power Grid industry segments, where the company aims for a leading European position. Within the Infrastructure segment, which includes software for horizontal construction and for water management, the company focuses on the Nordic market. Volue’s Industrial IoT business, currently part of the Energy segment, holds a potential for growth across industry verticals, and is being considered split out to a separate reporting segment.
