Commissioning of the Canadel solar power plant (10.4 MW) in France

Voltalia (Euronext Paris, ISIN code: FR0011995588), an international player in renewable energies, announces today the completion of the construction of the Canadel solar power plant (10.4 MW), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

Won during the CRE III tender at the end of 2015, the Canadel solar power plant is located in Brignoles, in the Var department, and benefits from a twenty-year electricity sales contract.

The power plant, whose construction started in the second quarter of 2017, is equipped with high performance solar panels, hence maximizing the yield of the solar resource, which is among the best in the country.

For this project, Voltalia has implemented an ecological supervision of the construction works and a sustainable management of the neighbouring areas in order to preserve

the local fauna and flora. Furthermore, a grazing agreement with a local shepherd will contribute to land maintenance during all the operation of the equipments.

The Canadel plant will cover the annual consumption of nearly 8,300 inhabitants.
