NEW APPOINTMENTS

Mozambi Coal Limited (ASX : MOZ) is pleased to announce the appointments of Chala Kondragunta as Exploration Manager based in Mozambique, and Ryan Broom as Chief Financial Officer and Joint Company Secretary based in Perth. Mr Kondragunta joined the company in March 2011 and Mr Broom joined in May 2011.

"We are very pleased to have been able to attract such high calibre hires at this early stage. Chala and Ryan will play instrumental roles in the company's development, both in Mozambique and Perth", said Shiv Madan, Managing Director. "In particular, Chala's experience in coal exploration in Mozambique will prove extremely valuable in pushing forward our exploration programme and assessing acquisition opportunities."

Mr Kondragunta joins from Essar Steel, where he served as Deputy General Manager in charge of their coal exploration programmes in Mozambique and Indonesia. He was previously with Vedanta Resources, and has an 18 year background as an exploration geologist. Mr Broom is a Chartered Accountant and has previously held senior finance roles at Africa-focussed explorers Tusker Gold and Indago Resources.
