ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

ENERJI SIGNS AFRICAN AGREEMENT WITH INSPIRED EVOLUTION INVESTMENT

Enerji Ltd (ASX:ERJ)(“Enerji” or the “Company”) advises it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Inspired Evolution Investment Management (Inspired Evolution), a specialised clean tech investment and advisory business based in the Republic of South Africa.

Under the terms of the MOU, Enerji and Inspired Evolution will work collaboratively to identify and assess opportunities to develop, construct and operate clean energy projects within the Southern Africa and the Sub-Saharan Africa Region.

Inspired Evolution has sourced, closed and funded investments representing approximately 918 MW of renewable energy generation assets and is currently establishing offices in selected Sub-Saharan countries as part of its Africa platform growth strategy.

Enerji’s Chief Executive Office, Andrew Vlahov commented: “Enerji is very pleased to collaborate with Inspired Evolution to pursue bankable clean energy project opportunities in the Sub-Saharan Region that overlap within the development and investment mandates of both parties. Enerji has commenced an expansion program for Africa following our review of the commercial opportunities available and Inspired Evolution has an excellent track record of investment in clean energy infrastructure in the region.”

The MOU with Inspired Evolution adds to Enerji’s growing group of international partners, and reaffirms the interest in the Enerji’s ATEN technology as well as validating it’s commitment to becoming a leader in innovative solutions within the renewable power generation sector. The MOU follows a similar agreement with SNC-Lavalin Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of SNC-Lavalin, one of the world’s leading engineering and construction groups (announced to the ASX on 22 October 2015) and an MoU with the Australian subsidiary of electrical engineering and software company Yokogawa Electric (announced to the ASX on 7 March 2016).
