The Manager Company Announcements Office ASX Ltd

Sales and Project Update

Perth-based clean power company Enerji Limited (ASX:ERJ) has completed three paid site visits with potential customers and is nearing completion of construction of its waste heat to power Opcon Powerbox system at Horizon Power’s Carnarvon Power Station.

Further Sales

The Company’s sales, engineering and corporate teams have been busy with inspections of potential new customer sites interstate and overseas. These sites represent different types of potential applications for Enerji’s Waste Heat to Power Solutions (WHPS) including a mine site, a city power station and an industrial plant. Negotiations with these prospective customers are at advanced stages.

The customers are paying fees to Enerji for professional time conducting the inspections and report/proposal preparation as well as covering travel and other expenses. This indicates both the level of demand for these systems and recognition of Enerji’s expertise.

Carnarvon Project

The piping that will carry the hot water from the heat recovery units (fitted to the engine exhausts) to the Opcon Powerbox is now complete and ready for pressure testing. The lagging (insulation), that will minimise heat loss along the 100m return journey to the Opcon Powerbox, is approximately 50% complete. Installation of the electrical cabling for control systems and power export is well advanced with all cable trays now completed.

The delivery of the piping to connect the Opcon Powerbox to the cooling tower and the roof for the noise reducing canopy has unavoidably slipped with the piping not due on site until the middle of October. This is due to scheduling slippage at the manufacturer. Consequently some other tasks are deferred until the installation of the cooling water piping is completed. This is scheduled for two days after delivery.

Along with the cooling water piping, other tasks to be completed are final installations of the electrical cabling, electronic control system, the remaining lagging and the canopy roof. These are proceeding as they are not dependent on the completion of the cooling water piping.

Opcon engineers are now scheduled to return to site shortly after the cooling water piping is installed to complete construction and commence commissioning.
