The Manager Company Announcements Office ASX Ltd

Enerji Business Development Update

Perth-based clean power company Enerji Limited (ASX:ERJ) has completed three detailed site visits for prospective customers as part of formal engagements of Enerji to conduct evaluations. The engagements involved fees and expenses paid to Enerji, and each evaluation has moved to the stage of formal proposals and negotiations.

One of the prospective customers has been deeply engaged with Enerji’s commercial team to hone a commercial offering of substantial value to both parties. Its mine site is powered by reciprocating diesel generators and is acutely aligned with Enerji's core technical and commercial capability. This prospective customer also has two other sites at which Enerji is endeavouring to repeat the visit/proposal process with ultimate potential for up to four Opcon Powerboxes. This has been a major focus for the Company in past weeks.

Also occupying our business development team’s time have been the follow ups to the other two site evaluations. One of these is a diesel powered town site of a size and commerciality also highly compatible with Enerji’s Waste Heat to Power System (WHPS). An initial proposal outlining significant benefit to the customer, as well as healthy returns to Enerji, was prepared and submitted to the prospect’s board for approval to proceed further.

Follow up on the third site visit is also progressing. This is an industrial site with a more traditional application for the Opcon Powerbox. The focus with this study is to deliver process improvement and carbon abatement through the use of the available waste heat. This is a more sophisticated application and will likely take longer to finalise than the other two proposals.

Enerji has also had its first prospective customer visit the Carnarvon project site. Our engineer was able to showcase the site, which is at an advanced stage of construction. Feedback from the prospective customer was very positive. An initial analysis of this prospect’s project shows Enerji’s WHPS would be very beneficial. Discussions are set to continue following commissioning of the Carnarvon WHPS.

Whilst the opportunities outlined above have been the Company’s major focus recently, Enerji also continues to pursue new and existing prospects.

The Company will provide a further update on the Carnarvon project in the coming week.
