Application for admission to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange

Volkswagen AG (the 'Company') announces that it has issued 1 ordinary share of the Company to Porsche Automobil Holding SE. The issue and allotment of the 1 ordinary share has been made as part of the consideration obligations in respect of the contribution of Porsche Automobil Holding SE's automotive business, as announced by the Company on 4 July 2012.

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for admission to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for admission to trading of the ordinary share which is expected to take place at 8.00 a.m. on 3 August 2012.

Following admission, the Company will have 295,089,818 ordinary shares in issue.
